- Engaged in lectures surrounding nuclear physics, astrophysics and cutting edge research, and developed strategies for providing classroom instruction on those topics.
- Conducted three days of experiments with MoNA (Modular Neutron Array), a detector at the National Superconducting Cyclotron Lab (NSCL), with a focus on cosmic rays and nuclear astrophysics.
